Give the GOP a chance on health care

With conservatives clamoring for quick action on dismantling and replacing the Affordable Care Act, the White House on Tuesday sought to reassure supporters that President Trump and congressional Republicans were still on track to complete work on legislation before the end of the year. In an interview that aired just before the Super Bowl on Sunday, President Donald Trump said he would like to see it accomplished "by the end of the year", The New York Times reported.

In other words, a significant portion of adults aren't entirely clear on the protections and benefits they could lose if Paul Ryan and the House Republicans are successful in their bid to gut Obamacare.

"To fix [the] American health care system, you have to repeal and replace this law, and that's what we're doing", said in an interview with Fox & Friends.

Holly Furtner, service unit manager for the Girl Scouts, was bundled up as she checked off cars that had loaded up. Wilderness Sports donated the snowshoes for the day, to accommodate the 100 people who showed up for the event.

"It statutorily takes a while to get", Trump said. Speaker Ryan rebuked that rhetoric by called Obamacare a "collapsing law".

"If the ACA is to be repealed, the potential repeal and replace should be done simultaneously, and ensure that the 22 million people receiving coverage continue to receive adequate coverage", reads the letter. His Affordable Care Act (ACA) has been dubbed a failure by many, including our current president.

Despite the rhetoric, it is unclear how Republicans plan to repeal Obamacare beyond reconciliation, where any Obamacare repeal will require the support of Democrats. Brady, in a media interview last week, acknowledged a split among Republicans over the issue, but said, "Personally, I don't want any more small businesses or patients or medical device makers to suffer under the burden of Obamacare taxes any longer". However, it's the worst kept secret in Washington that the Republicans are still lightyears away from a consensus on how to stitch an overall plan together and push it through Congress. It's also an area where Republicans are going to have to do some things we may not normally do, like cost sharing or reinsurance.

Lewis, he said, "freely gave a buccal swab of his DNA". "Each one was vetted painstakingly by detectives", he said. The case had baffled detectives and spooked a normally quiet neighborhood that sees little crime.

On Jan. 31, former Republican Rep. Richard Hanna of NY, who recently retired from public office, predicted that his GOP colleagues would not repeal the ACA, asserting that they are now "scrambling to figure out what they meant for six years (of repeal attempts) and what it was they had in their heads to replace it with, which was largely non-existent". "The question is how long does it take to implement the full replacement of Obamacare". In all likelihood, he knows that repealing Obamacare without a suitable replacement would leave around 20 million Americans uninsured, and thus at risk of "dying in the streets".

The first step to unleashing reform and innovation in health care is to give private entrepreneurs and their innovative ideas a level playing field.
