Trump says intelligence hearing on Russian Federation delayed until Friday

On Saturday, Trump warned against being quick to pin the blame on Russian Federation for the hacking of US emails.

He pointed to intelligence failures over the existence of WMDs (weapons of mass destruction) in Iraq before the USA invasion, and declared himself an expert in the area.

"I just want them to be sure", he said, speaking with reporters outside his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Fla. The president-elect added, "More dishonest than anyone knows". John McCain of Arizona and Sen.

As punishment, President Barack Obama announced last week a new round of sanctions against Russia, including the removal of 35 intelligence Russian officials from the US.

But Spicer has repeatedly suggested over the past 48 hours that the actions by Obama, a Democrat, were politically motivated.

He had also appreciated Russian President Vladimir Putin for not expelling the U.S. diplomats in response to Washington's sanctions on them and called him very smart for his move. "Maybe it was; maybe it wasn't but you have to think about that", Spicer said.

"The question is, is the response of this administration, the sanctions they put on, proportional with the activities that have happened, and number two, is it a political response to Russian Federation or is it a diplomatic response - because we haven't seen these kind of sanctions in peacetime in our history?" said incoming White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer. Nothing was taken when millions of people had their private information, including information on security clearances, that was shared. "Not one thing happened", he said.

"So there is a question about whether there's a political retribution here versus a diplomatic response".

Spicer said he had not but that officials were set to brief Trump later in the week, once the report was finalized.

The president-elect then went on to repeat what he has said many times before-it could have been somebody else.

Released Chibok Girls Go Home For Christmas
The report did not include any more information, but said that the girls were en route Abuja to be presented to the president. This is just as rumours that the girls were a new set of rescued Chibok schoolgirls went viral on the media.

U.S. intelligence agencies say Russian Federation was behind hacks into Democratic Party organisations before the presidential election. We don't think that frankly the steps that have been taken are enough of a deterrent.

Trump has cast doubt on the conclusions and suggested his briefing from USA intelligence agencies had been delayed because "more time [is] needed to build a case".

Mr Putin said: "All the children of American diplomats accredited in Russian Federation, I invite you to the New Year's and Christmas tree in the Kremlin".

The New Yorker published an article drawing outlandish speculations that the last name of Russia's new chief of staff, Vayno, is similar to the Russian word for war, "voyna".

The president-elect pinned the tweet to the top of his Twitter page.
