JonBenet Ramsey's brother sues CBS over documentary concluding he was killer

Burke claims that his reputation was ruined after the CBS documentary series The Case of: JonBenét Ramsey suggested he killed his six-year-old sister in 1996.

The program, "The Case of: JonBenét Ramsey", was released as the 20th anniversary of the young beauty queen's death in Boulder was approaching.

CBS declined to comment Wednesday on the lawsuit.

Mass. Legislature Votes To Delay Recreational Marijuana Sales08:02
MA was the first state in the nation to impose criminal penalties on marijuana - doing so in 1914". About 1.5 million people voted against it.

"If you really, really use your free time to think about this case, you can not come to a different conclusion", Spitz said in the special, indicating that it was indeed Burke who murdered JonBenet.

If Burke truly has nothing to hide, which seems to be the case based on his lawsuits, this new evidence may finally clear his name from speculation.

The lawsuit said that the Boulder PD and the Boulder District Attorney's office have publicly exonerated Burke before, during, and after the grand jury investigation, and that those facts were not highlighted in the series.

Defense leads the way as Texans clinch division
Green has missed the last four games due to a hamstring injury, and said he hopes to play Saturday against the Houston Texans. Added Savage: "The first half I was just missing some people, missing some reads here and there, and that's unacceptable".

This isn't the first time he's sued CBS or someone affiliated with the network. CBS, Critical Content, Jim Clemente, Laura Richards, A. James Kolar, James Fitzgerald, Stanley B. Burke, Werner Spitz and Henry C. Lee were listed as defendants.

Police have since collected and studied thousands of pieces of evidence but no-one has been charged with the killing and the case remains open. The lawsuit requests compensatory damages in the amount of $250 million, and punitive damages in the amount of $500 million. One such example includes a public statement made by then Boulder District Attorney Alex Hunter, who said Burke had no connection to his sister's murder.

The documentary allegedly included a "disgusting staged demonstration" during which Spitz "commands a 10-year-old boy to, in effect, pretend he is bludgeoning JonBenet to death by using a flashlight to strike a pig skin skull covered with a blonde wig".
