Stickers and Other 'Holiday Fun' Come to Instagram Stories

Instagram's latest update includes even more features seemingly borrowed from Snapchat, if you can believe it. Snapchat offers holiday designs as well, though a notable difference at this point between the two parties remains Snapchat's commercial marketplace for Geofilter creation. Instead, a new "Hands-Free" option in the form picker lets you record a video with just one tap. As the title says, stickers are now available in Instagram Stories, and they can be added to both photos and videos. After you've taken your snap, tap the smiley face to find customizable stickers for weather, the current time, and even your location (sound familiar?).

Instagram has announced a slew of new features for Stories including Stickers, hands-free video mode, the ability to save story video, and more. You also can now use as much text over your Stories as you want rather only one field. Instagram is launching the feature with a collection of holiday-themed stickers, in addition to context-sensitive stickers for location, time, and temperature.
